MTBC COACHING

◦The Coaching Certification and Licensing Program is a program to ensure certified and active coaches are recognised and provided with the support from Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress in implementing a suitable coaching program for athletes of various levels and skills across Malaysia.


MTBC Coaching & Licensing Program

◦Under the program, coaches will be given a license card and coaching certificate as a certificate of recognition at the national level. Successfully trained coach information and details will be entered to the MTBC Coaching Platform online with the credentials and achievements of the coaches for easy verification of potential athletes in engaging the right coach for them.


◦This Coaching certificate and license is also a prerequisite to obtaining the National Coaching Licensing Scheme (SLKK) and National Coaching Certification Scheme (SPKK) under the National Coaching Academy. Additional requirements for the SLKK and SPKK is completion of the relevant level of Sport Science Course under the National Coaching Academy. Successfully trained coaches information will be entered into the Malaysia Sports Coach Registry (MSCR) database.

Coaching Certification

MTBC Coaching Certification has 5 levels namely:-


1. Level 1 (Sport Specific Level 1 under National Coaching Academy (NCA))


2. Bronze Level (Sport Specific Level 2 under NCA)


3. Silver Level (Sport Specific Level 3 under NCA)


4. Silver-Advance (Given to coaches that have coaching experience with the MTBC National Setup)


5. Gold (Given to the Head Coach of the National Elite Team of at least 5 years experience, and with the approval of the Executive Committee of MTBC)

Licence Benefits

1. Recognition as a certified MTBC coach.


2. Coach’s Profile will be accessible at the MTBC Website.


3. Have access to MTBC National Coaches Support and Guidance for Coaching.


4. Coaches can request National Coaches for their Yearly Evaluation of Bowlers.
(Expenses covered by the Coach or Academy/Club)


5. Special rate for Continued Education Courses conducted by MTBC for invited overseas speakers
