Continuing the Development of Interstate Bowling

Beyond the individual results, the 37th Interstate Bowling Championships served as an important platform for state and Federal Territory associations to develop their athletes and provide meaningful competitive opportunities across different age groups and categories.

The range of medal-winning states throughout the championship also reflected the depth and geographical spread of competitive bowling in Malaysia. From established national-level athletes to younger bowlers competing in the Boys and Girls categories, the Interstate Championships provide an important link between state-level development and the wider national competition structure.

The championship also reinforces the role of state associations in identifying and nurturing talent, supporting athletes and creating regular opportunities for bowlers to compete at a high level.

MTBC congratulates Team Selangor on retaining the Overall Championship title, as well as all medalists, participating teams, coaches, officials and state associations for their contributions throughout the 37th Interstate Bowling Championships 2026.

With the Interstate Championship now concluded, the focus turns to the 48th Malaysian National Bowling Championships 2026, as bowlers continue their pursuit of national honours and further opportunities to represent Malaysia on the international stage.
