The Men’s Open title at the Kuala Lumpur International Bowling Open 2026 concluded in high-level fashion at Sunway Megalanes, where Rafiq Ismail delivered a composed and consistent performance across the final block to secure the championship.
Rafiq staged a strong comeback in the later blocks to overtake early leaders including Megat Zaqrul Haiqal and Tun Hakim, finishing with a winning total of 196 in the final game. Tun Hakim and Megat Zaqrul placed second and third respectively. In the Women’s division, Nur Syazwani Sahar successfully defended her crown, finishing ninth overall but holding off Siti Safiyah Amirah and Faten Najihah Ahmad Faik for the top women’s title.
