Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress Annual General Meeting 2026
MTBC Annual General Meeting 2026: Strengthening the Future of Malaysian Tenpin Bowling
The Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress (MTBC) convened its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026, bringing together representatives from its affiliated state and Federal Territory bowling associations to review the progress of Malaysian tenpin bowling and discuss priorities for the year ahead. The meeting included the confirmation of the previous AGM minutes, as well as reviews of the Congress’s annual activities, financial position and administration. Discussions also focused on strengthening the involvement and coordination of state associations, recognising their important role in developing bowlers, organising competitions, supporting coaches and officials, and creating a pathway from grassroots participation to higher levels of competition.
Looking ahead, the AGM highlighted the importance of continued cooperation between MTBC and its affiliates in strengthening athlete development, coaching, technical officiating and domestic competition. The development of Malaysian bowling remains a collective responsibility involving the national federation, state associations, athletes, coaches, officials, bowling centres and other stakeholders. Through stronger engagement at state level, structured development programmes and quality domestic competitions, MTBC aims to build a more sustainable pathway for the next generation of Malaysian bowlers while continuing to support athletes competing at national and international levels.
